PM 9 including a 4 mile tempo in Liberty Park:5:49,5:48,5:50,5:49. Temp was 14F. Probably split about an 18flat 5k.

I was shooting for half marathon pace (predicted to be 5:5x) and exceeded my expectations. Would have fallen off this pace at 1.5 miles in August.

You are in a room with 3 light switches, but the lights are in a different room. You want to figure out which switch goes to which light. How can you do this if you can only enter the room with the lights once?

Use the flashlight on your iPhone.

Good riddle, but better workout! Nice progress there.

Turn two lights on for two minutes then turn one of them off. Go into the room. You see one on and two off. Touch the two that are off. The one that is on is the one you left on. The one that is hot is the one you turned off. And the other one is the other one.

Four people need to cross a rickety rope bridge to get back to their camp at night. Unfortunately, they only have one flashlight, and it only has enough light left for seventeen minutes. The bridge is too dangerous to cross without a flashlight, and its only strong enough to support two people at any given time. Each of the campers walks at a different speed. One can cross the bridge in 1 minute, another in 2 minutes, the third in 5 minutes, and the slow poke takes 10 minutes to cross. What is the smallest time in which all the campers can make it across?

From Brandon Dase on Thu, Dec 12, 2013 at 17:40:42 from 160.7.242.251

1 minute and 2 minute cross, 2 minute comes back - 4 minutes. 10 minute and 5 minute cross, 1 minute comes back - 11 minutes plus the 4 = 15 total minutes. Then 1 minute and 2 minute cross - 17 minutes. Now they can party hardy. :)

Nice to see you getting stronger fiddy. Bro!

Correct! When asked this question in an interview I just said you could throw the flashlight back and forth. Not quite the answer they were looking for.

From Brandon Dase on Thu, Dec 12, 2013 at 20:28:03 from 160.7.242.251

That's initially where i went with it and thought 12 minutes. I can't imagine being asked that in an interview.
